The problem
Why history feels hard.
In school, history usually means reading long chapters, memorising names and dates, and writing it all down in the exam. A lot of it is forgotten soon after. We wanted to see if other students felt the same way, so we asked them.

Why we made it
Learning history
by playing it.
Most of us studied history the same way. Read the chapter, learn the dates, and hope the right questions come up in the exam.
Dust & Dynasties lets you go through Sri Lankan history yourself. You visit places like Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa, answer questions, solve puzzles and earn rewards along the way, in Sinhala, Tamil or English.
